This card is based on a card my friend Wendy made. While she did not use CTMH stamps for her card, the flowers stamps she used were very similar. I used Pemberly Paper, Card Word Puzzle for the flowers and Card Chatter-Birthday for the sentiment...
The bottom of the card is cut out along the flowers and a strip of Pemberly Paper was added to the inside bottom.
I know I said it before when you were showing me how to do this, but this card is just beautiful! Thanks for the lesson! You are a good teacher :)
ReplyDeleteDo you have a viedo on how to do this?
ReplyDeleteTo make this card I first stamped and cut out each flower from plain white paper.
ReplyDeleteOn the card I started with stamping the largest flower in the center. I then covered the image I just stamped with the same (cut out) flower. I was then able to stamp the smaller flowers (overlaping slightly) to look like they were behind the larger one. And just continued on that way by covering the smaller flowers. After the stamping stretched along the entire card, I cut away the bottom around the shape of the flowers. The darker blue printed paper on the bottom was glued on to the inside layer of the card, below where you would stamp your inside sentiment. I hope this helps anyone wanting to try this type of card.
