If it wasn't for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges I probably wouldn't be getting any cards made these days! It is so helpful having a sketch to get you started. I turned this one around so that the long thin rectangle would be on the right side, to make it work with the stamp of the girl with her watering can. I used the May Close to my Heart "Happy Times" paper special that we are able to get for free with a $60 purchase this month, along with a new stamp set B1526 (Lovely Garder) and an older stamp set D1372 (Grown With Love). I also added some color with my Shin Han Markers.
Another Magical Card made from Close to My Heart's Magical Paper Pack and Fairytale Birthday Stamp Set for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #159. Every time I use this paper and stamp set I get excited about my trip to Disney World this June! Not only will I be attending the Close to My Heart Convention, I will also be meeting up with 2 friends that I have not seen in a very long time!
Welcome to the Three Amigos May 2016 Close to My Heart Mini-Blog Hop. We are three Close to My Heart Consultants with a love for Stamping and Scrapping and would like to share our creative ideas with you. On the 3rd day of each month we will feature a different CTMH product or challenge and create a card, layout or other project. There are only 3 stops on this hop so it will only take a few minutes to hop through.
This month our project challenge is to create 3 Cards. I decided to make my cards similar, but different. All 3 cards are made with Thistle, Cotton Candy Pixie and Black ink.
Close to My Heart Stamps Used:
C1608 - Brushstrokes
B1534 - Fairytale Birthday
C1651 - Tickled Pink
C1620 - Baby Zoo
D1668 - Charming Cascades
Lisa's mother Sue will be filling in for her this month...So hop on over to the other two blogs Susan's Blog and Sue's Blog, to see what they have created!
I just got the new Close to My Heart Magical paper and Fairytale Birthday stamp set and was excited to use it for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week. I also used the new Magical Sequins, Magical Complements and white twine for my card. The gold crown is heat embossed and the other stamps are done in cranberry and sapphire inks.
I am thinking of doing something similar to this to trade at the CTMH Convention this summer, since it is being held at a very magical place, Disney World!
I needed a birthday card for my daughter, but the one I made last week was really for a little girl, so I made a similar one but with a little older girl on it. Ok, my daughter just turned 31, so maybe this is still more of a kids card, but she will always be my little girl.
I based the design on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch #157. I used Close to My Heart Balloon Ride paper and PML card, Charlotte Complements, Black & Gold Ribbon, Stamp Set C1633 "For Family" and a stamp by Paper Sweeties.
Here is my Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge project for Sketch #155. I used Close to My Heart products: Charlotte Paper snd Complements, Stamp Set C1633 "For Family" Black & Gold Ribbon and Shin Han Markers. The little girl stamp is a Penny Black product.
Thanks for stopping by, I am always excited to read your comments!

This month our project challenge is to create something using 3 tools. The tools I used are pretty basic to scrapbooking:
I also used the new stamp set CC1065 Hello Paradise which was available only a short time in March.
I have a Fathers Day Card for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week made with Close to My Heart Products: Urban Paper, Stamp Sets A1173 The Best Dad Ever and D1660 Ink Blot, Slate Ink and Square Durables. I actually went upstairs to my Scrap room to clean it up but instead wound up making this card. Maybe tomorrow it will get cleaned...
I used a stamp set that I just got this week for Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #151. It was so obvious to me that the sketch was saying Bandaids! So a Get well card it is. The stamp set is Close to My Heart B1508 "Kiss it Better". The sentiment is hard to see in this picture, it says "Hugs and Kisses and Get Well Wishes".
