2 More Great Challenges

Fantabulous Cricut - Challenge Me Monday #52

Create a birthday card or project.
This challenge ends at Midnight March 27th (mountain time).

More Than Favors - CCC Challenge #10

Create a card or project using the Cricut Doodlecharms Cartridge.
Deadline for this Challenge is 11:59pm (PST) Sunday March 27th.

Again I am using 1 card for 2 challenges.  I feel like it is cheating, but it is the only way I can do it, with my work schedule.

The red background is not part of the card.  It is a shaped card using the ice cream cones from the  Doodlecharms Cricut Cartridge (an oldie but goodie).  I embossed the "cone" part, and the happy birthday stamp is from Stampin Up.

2 Challenges - 1 Card

CCCC #9 - Life's a Beach
This week's Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge #9 is to make a card using the Cartridge Life's a Beach.

Cricut Cardz Challenge #66
This week’s Cricut Cardz Challenge #66 is to make a Thank You card with a Cricut Cut Border, in Yellow, Blue and White.

It is slightly more challenging to follow the rules of 2 different challenges, but I found the perfect cut from Life's A Beach, the Lighthouse, Sun and Seagulls with the Ocean border.  I embossed and inked the background with my Cuttlebug and CTMH Inks.

Celebrate the Occasion

Celebrate the Occasion is a challenge blog to celebrate special occasions throughout the year.

Challenge #5.  This week's theme is "New Arrival (new baby or puppy)".  Create a card, layout or project and post by Sunday, March 20th, 11:59pm (EST).
The Cricut Cartridge I used is Stretch Your Imagination.

I was glad to be able to  ( find the time)to get into this Challenge. With working 10 hour days, just getting up into my scrapbook room is a challenge.    Although I felt it was unusual to use the color brown on a baby card, it just seemed to go with the color scheme.  What do you think?

Start with Solid Color Cardstock size 12” x 6”
Score at 2”, 4”, 8”, and 10”.
Slit from the 2” score line to the 10” score line, 1-3/4” from edge.
Turn card around and do the same on the other side.
(See card for folds)
Cut each printed paper section ¼” smaller than it’s background section.

I used cut outs from Create A Critter for decorating and a heart shape for the front (Also works well with circle, square & oval)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #64

In honor of Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America week this week's challenge is to make a BOOKMARK using any Cricut cartridge and any colors.
For my bookmark I used the Nifty Fifties Cricut Cartridge (Page 23)
I was not going to post the matching card until I gave it to the person it was meant for, but here it is anyway...

These were made for my sister-in-law. She will be getting both of these in the mail next week for her birthday!
