Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #161

If it wasn't for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenges I probably wouldn't be getting any cards made these days! It is so helpful having a sketch to get you started.  I turned this one around so that the long thin rectangle would be on the right side, to make it work with the stamp of the girl with her watering can.  I used the May Close to my Heart "Happy Times" paper special that we are able to get for free with a $60 purchase this month, along with a new stamp set B1526  (Lovely Garder) and an older stamp set D1372 (Grown With Love).  I also added some color with my Shin Han Markers.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #159

Another Magical Card made from Close to My Heart's Magical Paper Pack and Fairytale Birthday Stamp Set for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #159. Every time I use this paper and stamp set I get excited about my trip to Disney World this June! Not only will I be attending the Close to My Heart Convention, I will also be meeting up with 2 friends that I have not seen in a very long time!

3 Amigos Mini Blog Hop

Welcome to the Three Amigos May 2016 Close to My Heart Mini-Blog Hop. We are three Close to My Heart Consultants with a love for Stamping and Scrapping and would like to share our creative ideas with you. On the 3^rd day of each month we will feature a different CTMH product or challenge and create a card, layout or other project. There are only 3 stops on this hop so it will only take a few minutes to hop through. 

This month our project challenge is to create 3 Cards.  I decided to make my cards similar, but different.  All 3 cards are made with Thistle, Cotton Candy Pixie and Black ink.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #158

I just got the new Close to My Heart Magical paper and Fairytale Birthday stamp set and was excited to use it for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week.  I also used the new Magical Sequins, Magical Complements and white twine for my card.  The gold crown is heat embossed and the other stamps are done in cranberry and sapphire inks.

I am thinking of doing something similar to this to trade at the CTMH Convention this summer, since it is being held at a very magical place,   Disney World!
