Atlantic Hearst Sketch 53

Please visit the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge Blog to see the Sketch I based this Wedding card on.  I used the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge and CTMH Glitter Paper to make the flower, Stamp Set D1265 Gracious Greetings for the Sentiment and the new CTMH Damask Embossing Folder for the embossed background.  I also used CTMH Silver Shimmer Trim for the border.

CTMH May Stamp of the Month Cards

Here are some of the 3 x 3 cards I made with the May SOTM to give to the ladies at my Workshop this Saturday.  I used Dotty for You on three of the cards but wanted something red for the Apple of My Eye card...  so I went to the 2013 Christmas paper pack for that one!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch 51

This is the sketch for The Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week (Sketch 51):

And here is my card based on this sketch.  I used the Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut Cartridge (my favorite Cricut Cartridge ever!) to cut out the card. 

 

 

This actually made 4 cards. I cut one each of the background for the card in Lagoon, Honey, Sunset and Outdoor Denim Card Stock.  Each card used a different outline color and the remaining pieces were alternated between all 4 cards. If you try this, be sure to leave all pieces on the Cricut mat and remove them as you use them.  This way you will know where each piece fits in on your card.  



Three Amigo's Mini Blog Hop

On the 3^rd day of each month we will feature a different CTMH product and create a card, layout or other project. For our April "Hop" we chose a current Paper Pack from Close to My Heart called Ivy Lane.

 

I cut the Bird out with the Artiste Cartridge and stamped the Happy Birthday with B1419 - Joyful Birthday.  I also used the Scalloped Border Punch on the center strip of paper.

Three Amigo's Mini Blog Hop

For our March 2014 "Hop" we chose to use a new product to Close to My Heart... Embossing Folders!  These Embossing Folders are big enough for a 5 X 7 card but can still be used for a smaller card as well. The card I made measured 4 "x 5-1/2".

 I have had a lot of requests for Wedding Cards lately...  I used the Quatrefoil Embossing Folder on a white daisy background.  I also used CTMH Slate Polk-a-Dot ribbon for the dress and "All My Love" (D1194) Retired Stamp for the hearts.  The figures were cut from the "Sweethearts" Cricut Cartridge.

H2H Flourishes Challenge

Better late than never... Last week Heart 2 Heart had a challenge to incorporate Flourishes in your project.  For my card I used Creme Brulee ink and the Love Life stamp set (D1482) for the background on my card.  Island Greetings (A1157) stamped in Barn Red and colored in with water color pencils and a few retired and new embellishments finished off the card.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #42

For Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #42 I used Close to My Heart Lollydoodle paper and the new Owls stamp set.  Here is the sketch and my card:

Heart 2 Heart featuring a "Heart"

This is Valentines' week at H2H and we are to use HEARTS on our projects.  I wanted to use my new CTMH Damask Embossing folder and this was perfect for a Wedding Dress.  The dress was cut from the "Sweethearts" Cricut Cartridge and the "Heart" on my card is from a retired CTMH stamp set.  The inside sentiment is from "The Happy Couple" Stamp set.

 

 

Heart 2 Heart LOVE

This week at H2H the Challenge is about LOVE.  And I love the Close to My Heart February Stamp of the Month!  Here is the card I made for my husband for Valentine's Day:
