Using this sketch as a guide I created  my card with Mayberry Paper, Olive & Smoothie Ink, and D1408 & D1400 Stamp Sets.



1-2-3 Challenge

This week at Heart 2 Heart it is time for a 1-2-3 Challenge!  For this challenge you are to create something using:
1 stamp
2 different patterned papers
3 embellishments.
The embellishments can be all 3 the same or 3 different ones.

Celebrate the Occasion

This week the challenge at Celebrate the Occasion is Anything Goes Birthday.  I made this card for my husband's sister who will be celebrating her birthday in March. The papers & stamps are CTMH products.

Heart 2 Heart Challenge

This week's Challenge on the Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog is to make a 3-D project. I made a box to hold a mini album from a past challenge. It is very simple to do with only a few folds.  I used a 12 x 12 sheet of CTMH paper  (Sweethome) for each piece (top & bottom)  and decorated the top using the CTMH "Neighborhood" (C1384) stamp set along with flowers made with the CTMH AP Cricut Cartridge.

Beaver Hollow 2012

Less than 2 weeks to go for the Annual 3 day Beaver Hollow Scrapbook Retreat! I get so nervous every year, thinking I am going to forget to bring something important.  I have already started packing. But how do you ever really know everything you are going to need?  Luckily there will be several friends there this year, so we can count on each other to have anything one of us might forget.

Because of the time of the year, I will be working on Christmas pictures again. This was the first Christmas in a long time that there was no snow. I will miss scrapping snow pictures, but I really have not missed the lack of snow one bit. We had a few inches in January, but nothing like the snow we usually get here in the Buffalo NY area.

If anyone has any tips on what to pack for a weekend scrapbooking retreat, I would love to hear them!
