Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge 141

Welcome to my project for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #141!  I mixed the old with the new on this challenge.  I used Close to My Heart "Skylark" paper, bullap, durables studs, enamel stars and C1643 stamp set "Stuck on You".  I also used my ShinHan Markers to color in the stamps.

This year we are doing things in 3's, and for our first project of the year we are using 3 colors from the new Charlotte Paper Pack.  The colors I used are Champagne, Sorbet and Black.  I also used Stamp set B1504  Sending Love and C1641 Springtime Wishes.  Something new in the Jan-Apr 2016 Seasonal Expressions Book are Thin Cuts.  The Springtime Wishes Stamp set has a matching Thin Cuts (Z3201) which I used to cut out my stamped flowers.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #140

For the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #140 I used paper from the Close to My Heart's Paper Fundamentals Enchantment Assortment and the December 2015 Stamp of the Month, Candlelight Garden.  The flowers were colored in with my Shin Han Markers.

The Sketch:

I made this while Skype Scrapping in my scraproom in Buffalo NY with my friend Lisa who lives in Arizona.  Amazingly enough we have been having similar weather this year.  The days have been very warm here in Buffalo (for December) and not a drop of snow has fallen yet.  I know this can't last forever, but I am enjoying it while I can!

Atlantic Hearts #139

This is my last Christmas Card this year for the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #139.  I used CTMH White Pines Paper and the stamp set from the White Pines Workshop on the Go (D1678).  I also used stamps from Paper Sweeties which I borrowed from my friend Lisa, some Cricut cut outs, embossing folders and feathers! The little Kitten is from stamp set D1679.

Atlantic Hearts #137

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #137 stumped me at first, but keeping with the Christmas Card Making Season it worked out perfect for spelling out CHRISTMAS.  I was surprised I even thought of this because I rarely use alphabet stamps.  The set I used for my card is Close to My Heart "Urban Alphabet" (D1507).  I made the card very Glittery by heat embossing the letters and the design on the left side, adding Gold Shimmer Trim, Gold Bling Gems and Gold Glitter paper. Other CTMH Stamp Sets used; D1366 Holiday Trinkets and D1384 Snow Flurries.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #135

Taking a break from Christmas Cards I designed this Sympathy Card with The Retired Close to My Heart Skylark Paper and PML Cards, and Stamp Set C1524 Words of Comfort.  Using the PML Cards is a fast way to make handcrafted cards.

I am still working on my Christmas Cards and the White Pines CTMH Paper Pack is such a pretty assortment of festive papers.  I love working with it and the new Christmas Stamps from the Holiday Expressions Book.  

In addition to the White Pines Paper Pack I used Stamp Sets C1627 Reindeer Bells and B1483 Season's Greetings.  I added some Bitty Sparkles for the Reindeer's bells, a red enamel gem for his nose and a strip of Red Shimmer Trim across the back.  Since Christmas Cards go through the mail I try to make them as flat as possible, but I did pop up the oval on this one.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch #132

I am breaking away from my Christmas Card making for today.  I love the new CTMH Georgie paper and have been wanting to use it for a while now.  This week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch was a perfect opportunity.  I also used stamp set (C1620) Baby Zoo and Z1853 Aqua Dots.
