Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #94

For the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge this week I used the Close to My Heart stamp set number D1636 "I Do" and the Heart Embossing Folder.  I stamped the picture and sentiment first then ran it through my Cuttlebug to emboss the card.  When I put it together it looked like it was still missing something, so I added Glitter Gel to each of the embossed hearts, which really made the hearts stand out!

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #93

This is my take on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #93.  I used Stamp Set D1608 Better With A Friend, which is a Hostess Rewards Stamp.  I also used the Brushed Paper Pack and colored in the stamp with my Shin Han Markers.

If you look close you can see the glitter gel on her jewelry, shoes and shirt.

Home is where the Heart is...

This week on the Heart 2 Heart Challenge Blog the challenge is  "Home is Where the Heart Is". For this challenge I made a card for a new home owner.  I used retired CTMH stamp set C1384 "Neighborhood" and Lollydoodle paper.    The first picture is of the card opened up and the second picture shows how it folds up to fit in an envelope.  

3 Amigo's CTMH Mini Blog Hop

Welcome to the Three Amigos February 2015 Close to My Heart Mini-Blog Hop. This month we are creating a Mix and Match project.  CTMH makes it easy to create scrapbook pages and cards by making matching paper packs and coordinating embellishments.  But that doesn't mean you can't mix paper packs and embellishments in your projects.  

For this page layout I used paper from the Heartstrings and Skylark Packs, Teal Shimmer Trim, Chalk it Up Assortment and Best Day Ever Assortment.

This week's Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #92 also worked well with the Heart 2 Heart Challenge.  
This is the sketch Atlantic Hearts gave us to work with this week: 

It is a Clean and Simple Sketch, which is exactly what Heart 2 Heart was looking for this week!

I made my card using the following Close to My Heart products: White Daisy and Buttercup Cardstock, C1601 "Nursery Charms" Stamp Set, Black Ink, Shin Han Markers and the Chevron Border Punch.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #91

I have been working on cads for an upcoming Craft Show (in March) and decided to use the Atlantic Hearts Sketch #91 for this Mother's Day Card. I used a current Close to my Heart Paper Pack "Brushed" but dug out some older CTMH stamp sets for this card (B1210 Flutter and C1577 Mother's Day).

Because of the design of this sketch I made this a 5 x 7 card instead of my usual 4 x 5-1/2. The butterflies are stamped in Honey and Cotton Candy ink and embellished with CTMH Sparkles Assortment and Flamingo Dots.  I also tied a piece of Pixie Twine across the left side of the card.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #90

This is my take on the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #90.  This is also the first time I am using the Close to My Heart  January Stamp of the Month, "This Moment" and the CTMH "Heartstrings" paper pack, all perfect for a Valentine's Day Card!

For Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #89 I used Close to My Heart
Cardstock: Thistle, Canary white Daisy
Ink: Thistle, Canary, Sweet Leaf, Desert Sand, Honey and Black
Stamp Sets:D1602 A Budding Friendship , D1629 Just to Say
Since the colors were bright & cheery I decided to make it a card that would be used in the Springtime, and Mother's Day seemed to go along with the flowery design.

This month we are making our project using Embossing. I have samples of 2 different kinds of Embossing.  My first card is made with the Close to My Heart "Heart" Embossing Folder.  I used Hollyhock, Pixie, Black and White Daisy Cardstock.  CTMH Stamp Sets used: D1560 Holiday Tags and C1305 Family. (I also used the Hello Kitty Cricut Cartridge)

The next card is made using Heat Embossing.  I used Black Cardstock and Gold Shimmer Trim for the border.  Tools needed for heat embossing include a Heat Gun, Versa Mark Ink Pad and (Gold) Embossing Powder.  The Stamp Sets used: C1590 Delightful Ditty, D1636 I Do and S1412 (December Stamp of the Month) Cutie Pie.

Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #88

My first card of the New Year was created using the sketch from Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #88! I have always been afraid to use too much Liquid Glass, but it worked out well with this card.  I used CTMH Stamp Sets C1600 Happy Birds, D1551 Swirls Around and D1407 Piece of Cake.

The flowers were stamped on Glacier, Canary, Pixie and Thistle Cardstock and the birds were stamped on White Daisy Cardstock and colored in with Shin Han Markers.
