Make A Scene for H2H This Week

This week at Heart 2 Heart we are being challenged to "Make a Scene." 

I used the new "Always Grateful" Stamp Set and "Frosted" Papers with a piece of Bronze Shimmer Trim to add a little sparkle for this simlpe scene on a Christmas Card. The card is matted in  CTMH Chocolate Card Stock and Colonial White Card Stock was used for stamping on.  The tree and sentiment are both stamped with "Chocolate" ink.

CTMH Challenge

I met some friends at the Stamp & Scrapbook Show at the Erie County Fair Grounds on Saturday and managed to not go overboard on my spending.  We did see a pretty technique using a single stamp and layering several sections on it to make it 3D.  I was challenged by Kathy to make a similar project with a Close to My Heart Stamp. I knew right away which stamp I would use,  B1424 Classy Doily.  When I got home from the show I Skype Scrapped with Lisa and got the project made! So Kathy, here it is:

Heart 2 Heart Sentiment-ally Yours

This week at Heart 2 Heart the challenge is to make the Sentiment the focus of your project.  For this I am getting a little ahead of myself.  I have used the September Close to My Heart Stamp of the Month. There are so many possibilities with this stamp set.  You can use the entire stamp or pick just certain words (or sections)  to stamp.  On my 3 x 3 card I stamped the top part of the stamp in "Whisper" and hilighted the word JOY in Ruby. I matted it on Colonial White Cardstock and used Ruby Cardstock for the card.

Challenge #37 -- Evergreen Trees

This week at Christmas Card Challenges, our optional challenge in addition to making a holiday or Christmas card is to use evergreen trees.  This card is a variation from the Close to My Heart Frosted Workshop on the Go Card Kit.  I used the stamp set and design from the kit but added different papers from the "Frosted" paper pack.

Artbooking Mini Scrapbook

 Today I Spent 3-1/2 hours Skype-Scrapping with my friend Lisa who lives in Arizona.  I finished a mini-scrapbook made completely with the new Close to My Heart Artbooking Cricut Cartridge.   This is without a doubt the best Cricut Cartridge ever made!  I plan to use this Mini-scrapbook for a workshop project this month.

Weekly Christmas Card Challenge #35

I got another Christlmas Card designed for the Weekly Christmas Card Challenge Blog!  This week the challenge was to Make your own Background.  I stamped a Close to My Heart "Happy Holidays" stamp  in "Ruby" for the background of my card and poped out a Stamp from the new CTMH Frosted Card Workshop on the Go for the front of the card. 

Weekly Christmas Card Challenge #34

I don't know how I haven't seen this Weekly Christmas Card Challenge Blog in the past! I happened to stumble upon it this week and it inspired me to start my Christmas Cards.  The Challenge this week is to use Snowflakes. The card below is made with Close to My Heart products and is a variation from their Frosted Card Workshop On The Go. (I always like to add my own little changes to their designs)

Walt Disney World

We had a little bit of "Playtime" during our stay at Walt Disney World for the Close to My Heart Convention last month.  We were all excited to have our picture taken with the famous Pluto! So why do I have "GOOFY" on the layout????
