Double Trouble Challenge#4

I made this card while on a weekend Scrapbooking getaway for the Double Trouble Challenge Blog.  The challenge is to use 3 Colors, a 2 word Sentiment and 1 image.  I also used the sketch from the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge #272 to make this card.

This Month Our Challenge is "FLOWERS".  I needed a Wedding Card for a Good Friend's Daughter's wedding coming up this summer.  I wanted it to stand out so I did not use the normal colors for this type of card.  I chose the new Close to My Heart paper "Documented" with purples, greens, yellows and pinks.  

Other Close to My Heart Products I used are Stamp sets #C1719 and B1547, Ribbon and Pearls. I also added some other flowers that I had in my stash.

3 Amigos Blog Hop

This Month Our Challenge is..... Food/Beverage. I did my favorite type of layout, Mosaic.  It's much easier than it looks.  It just involves cutting out 100 1" squares and making sure the pieces don't get mixed up! I used the Gimme Some Sugar paper pack and a retired Alphabet Stamp Set for the letters.

3 Amigos Blog Hop

Our Challenge is to use The CTMH Silver & Gold Paper Pack.  I used the October Stamp of the Month on both cards. The first card is stamped in Black Ink.  The second card is heat embossed in Gold with gold Shimmer Trim. It's hard to tell in the picture but both cards have a white border.

(Taking care of a baby and a toddler takes up most of my time these days, so my cards are quick & easy. )
