Exploring Cricut's Daily Project

Today I am A guest designer for Exploring Cricut!

Now that Christmas is over it's time to get those Thank You Cards out to all the friends and relatives who were so generous this Holiday Season.

I made this Hello Kitty Thank You using the Hello Kitty Greetings, Lyrical Letters for the words and the Art Philosophy Cartridge for the snow flakes. I also used my Cuttle Bug to emboss the background.

Please visit Exploring Cricut  and check out all their wonderful Daily Projects.

Wacky Wednesday #59 and Challenge 4 At Exploring Cricut

Challenge 4 At Exploring Cricut - I just came across this blog and realized this is a perfect place to share my Thanksgiving project.
More Than Favors  Wacky Wednesday #59 is a Thanksgiving Theme.  I usually do not make cards for Thanksgiving, but I had the idea to make name cards for the table for all my guests. I used my Cricut Cartridge Create A Critter to make the Turkeys and Plantin Schoolbook for the Names. The turkeys are attached with wobbles for added fun!
Here is a group of the cards:

H2H Metal Mania

This week the Challenge on the Close To My Heart Challenge Blog is to incorporate something metal into your project.  I made this Mini Scrapbook for my daughter.  She just bought her first house and I thought this would be perfect for the "Moving Day" pictures.  I used the "Sweet Home" Paper Pack and My Stickease.  The cover has a metal "key" to represent the key to the house.

H2H's color challenge

I made this card for the Close To My Heart Challenge Blog . It is a color challenge using the colors Autumn Terracotta, Juniper and Bamboo. The stamp sets I used are B1116 - The Beauty of Christmas and A1115 - A Holiday.

Winter Wonderland

It has been a very long tiome since I posted any of my projects on my blog! Since "SNOW" is in the forcast (in higher elevations) in Western New York, I thought it would be a good time to start my Christmas Cards.

Over the weekend my friend Lisa & I worked very hard to make a set of cards with the "WONDERLAND" paper pack from Close To My Heart. We got them all started together on Saturday, then I finished mine up on my own on Sunday.

Here is the first card I am posting (more to follow):

Sweethearts Cricut Cartridge

This posting is for Week #25 of the CCCC (Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge) from the "More Than Favors" Blog.  This is a Wedding Planner I made for my daughter to keep all her information on reception halls, photographers, DJ's etc...

It is a regular composition notebook I bought from the Dollar Tree.  The binding on the side was already pink!  After it was complete I sponge brushed the entire (back & front) cover with Mod Podge.

More Than Favors - CCCC #23

This week's Cricut Cartridge Chaos Challenge cartridge is Wildcard! I have this cartridge but have never used it.  I really need CCCC so I can get to know my Cricut cartridges better!

This card looks so much better in person :-(
I added clear Stickles to the center of each flower on the embossed background, which does not show up very well in the picture.
